New for NCLC 2010!!
This year we have made a few exciting changes that we want to make sure you know about.
- Friday Dinner: This year we will be providing dinner on Friday, February 19th from 5:00-6:00pm during the Conference Welcome. The dinner will include a sandwich, bag of chips, chocolate chip cookie, pasta salad and a bottle of water. Sandwich options can be chosen on the registration form and include:
- Turkey and provolone on sourdough
- Tuna and walnut on croissant
- Chicken salad on croissant
- Roast beef and havarti on whole wheat
- Baked ham and Swiss on marble rye
- Veggie on 9 grain
- Also this year the all conference teambuilding will be replaced with individual teambuilding workshop sessions that will still count towards the leadership certificate (see certificate details below)
- Leadership-In-Action: New this year is an all conference service option. At NCLC we believe that service is a fundamental part of leadership development, and want to make it more of an integral part of our participant’s conference experience.
- Awards Recognition: At the ceremony we will be recognizing participant certificate completion by school and take a group picture; this is a great time to show off your school spirit! The ceremony will be from 5:00-6:00pm on Sunday, February 21; refreshments will be served. We also wanted to remind you to submit nominations for our three Excellence in Leadership awards; nomination forms are available on our website.
- Certificates: We have added another certificate option! In addition to the Leadership Enrichment Certificate we will be offering a second level of certification called Excellence in Leadership and Service. The Leadership Enrichment Certificate will still require 8 hours of workshops, service projects, and or teambuilding. The Excellence in Leadership and Service Certificate will require 10 hours of workshops, service and or teambuilding with a minimum of 2 hours devoted to service.
- And don’t forget about excursions! Excursions will be on Sunday from 12:30-5:00 and will use leadership themes to explore the Tucson area.
