Overview of the Pima Lodge

As a Blue Chip student, you have the opportunity to live in Pima Leadership Lodge which is home to nearly 50 Blue Chip students each year. The Lodge has many great programs and events designed especially for Blue Chip students who want even more leadership and involvement activities. In addition, Phase I students living in the Lodge will be on teams with 15 other residents of the Lodge and will have a live-in Team Leader who serves as a mentor and facilitator to the team.

Pima Lodge Activities/Involvement

Lodge Leadership Programs: Each month, there are additional leadership programs hosted in residence by Blue Chip staff for Lodge residents.

Lodge Opening Event: A welcome event that describes what it means to be a part of a living learning community. Residents set goals, expectations, and community development ideas for the semester.

Lodge Closing Event: An End-of-Year closure program for students to reflect on their experiences in Pima Lodge.

To Live in Pima Lodge

To be eligible, students must be in the Blue Chip Program in Phases I or II. Incoming Phase I students will apply to live in the Lodge on their Blue Chip application. Your acceptance to Blue Chip is separate from your acceptance to live in Pima Lodge. You will be notified of the status of your application to join Blue Chip within 2 weeks of submitting the application online. Please note that if you are accepted to Blue Chip, it does not mean that you have been accepted to live in Pima Lodge. We will review all requests to live in Pima Lodge and notify those students chosen to live there in early July. If you are selected to live in Pima Lodge, we will notify Residence Life and have your assignment changed from your current hall to Pima.

Returning Blue Chip students will need to apply during the Housing Reapplication process. Check with Residence Life on current housing rates.
